In 2013, after a nail-through-the-foot accident on a building site, our founder Stacey set out on a mission to find a pair of good fitting women's work boots. As someone who's spent most of their career in the corporate world, safety boots were totally unfamiliar territory for me. Honestly, I felt a bit out of place even looking for a pair. I wasn’t sure they were made with people like me in mind.
Then I came across She Wear, and wow! What a pleasant surprise! The colours were fun (hello, pink!), and the website was super informative without being overwhelming. It made the whole experience feel approachable.
I ended up visiting the Brisbane store and had such a positive experience. The staff member was welcoming, helpful, and answered all my questions with no judgement, just support. I chose the plastic cap style because they’re lighter, and I went for the zip finish, which makes them easy to slip on and off.
I’ve worn them a few times now, and from day one, they’ve been seriously comfortable. They're easy to wear, durable, and I love the zip feature for quick changes. The extra info included in the pack was a really nice touch, too.
If you’re on the fence, especially if safety boots feel a little outside your norm, I absolutely recommend giving She Wear a go. Their range is impressive, the colours are fun, and there’s definitely something to match both your needs and your personality.
